Environmental Improvement Plan
The Stakeholder Advisory Group
was formed in September 2011 to work with us on forming the
Environmental Improvement Plan (EIP) aspect of our sustainability
plan. Through a series of workshops, the group has helped us to
pinpoint the environmental improvement projects to be included in
the plan, based on those they identified as having the greatest
impact on our community.
The EIP is centred around 13 improvement projects that the group
will track and monitor over time, including:
- Eight Air Quality Management projects that cover reporting on the progress of the baghouses, fugitive dust management and three projects aimed at reducing odour.
- Two projects on Visual Amenity that will report on our rehabilitation program and water quality around the Woodman Point wash plant.
- Three projects which fall under the banner of communications and community engagement and focus on how the EIP will be communicated to the broader community.

We will also publish quarterly reports on this page to update
community stakeholders on each of these projects.
