Community Newsletter - October

Improving amenity for local residents is the focus of an upcoming trial to reduce odour that may be emitted from the lime production process at Cockburn Cement’s Munster Plant. Cockburn Cement has sought works approval to commence an odour neutralising trial in late December 2018. The trial will involve three separate stages over approximately six months, ending in June 2019.

DWER Approves Odour Neutraliser Trial

Following a consultation process with the Department of Health, the Department of Water, Environment and Regulation (DWER) granted the works approval to Cockburn Cement’s Munster operations to undertake the first two stages of a three-stage odour neutralising trial.
